Reviews and Ratings
I had quite mixed feelings about my stay. While the hotel is on historic grounds and the staff made efforts to help, the overall experience left much to be desired. The location is decent for exploring the city, and the breakfast, though not amazing, was sufficient. However, cleanliness and service experience varied significantly, making it a decent choice for budget travelers, but not ideal for luxury seekers.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While there were some redeeming qualities, like the historic charm and decent housekeeping, there were also major issues, including uncomfortable sleeping arrangements and an unwelcoming neighborhood. If you're looking for a comfortable and modern hotel, this might not be the best choice, but if you want to explore the city without splurging, it could suffice.
My stay was quite frustrating overall. Initially, we were assigned the wrong rooms and had to deal with noise from the street that made it difficult to rest. The next night, we got better rooms, but they were tiny and not very comfortable, with issues in the bathroom. On the plus side, the free breakfast was a nice touch, but the surrounding area felt unsafe at night.
